Dear Salon Salud community,

We are thrilled to invite you to a recital put on by Anishka Lee-Skorepa, dramatic soprano; featuring Justin Hansen, piano, and Zoe Kumagai Elias, double bass. It will take place in the beautiful Performing Arts Center at Southwestern College in Chula Vista- where Anishka is professor of voice.

There is free parking in Lot “O”

The recital will feature each instrument in an eclectic set list including 19th century opera house music, Neo-Romantic American chamber music, Mexican art song, a spontaneous piano offering, and tango for solo double bass.

This performance sprang from a special creative well- the living room salon. As a collective, the trio has infused the ethos of mutual support into the chamber music setting. It is a product of three musicians striving to keep learning and growing in community.
